Turned parts for direct screwing in plastics and die-cast products are the economic alternative to cold extrusion parts when small batch sizes (e.g. 1,000 pieces) are wanted.

Thread forming screws manufactured from turned parts – direct screwing also for small batch sizes

Our thread forming screws manufactured as turned parts replace cold extrusion parts which demand high output quantities to achieve a favourable unit price.

We manufacture every desired shape or geometry which you want to screw into another object – from any materials. We then put all the threads on the turned part at our factory. These are thread rolling or thread tapping threads as a rule.

This gives you another great advantage:

High tool costs are saved because no counter-thread is required in the workpiece (e.g. threaded insert, nut) as the parts are screwed directly into the workpiece. Only a specified tube is necessary to be able to screw directly.

  • Thread rolling screws (DIN 7500) for direct screwing into die-cast parts (die-cast aluminium, cast iron, cast steel)
  • Thread tapping screws (DIN 7513–7516)
  • KTG screws for direct screwing into plastics
  • Totally individual screws or other parts with thread

We manufacture turned parts on precision lathes. Blanks are either cold extrusion parts, but normally turned parts or recut cold extrusion parts (therefore absolutely precise parts).

Turning is a production method for screws or other threaded parts from the materials steel, high-grade steel, aluminium, brass and other metals/alloys that are needed in smaller batch sizes.

All common sizes, drives, materials and surfaces from one supplier. Special sizes and shapes according to drawing or sample – also from us.

Turned parts for direct screwing are usually screwed into plastics to produce sub-assemblies. Users are e.g.:

  • Plastic processing industry
  • Automotive
  • Aircraft industry
