Useful bolts for every fastening problem

Bolts are cylindrical connecting elements with or without head, with or without thread. Parts can be joined easily and inexpensively with bolts or pins.

Bolts have clearance and can move in the hole. They are suitable for loose and tight connections, joint connections, bearings, guides, centrings, retainers and for securing the parts against overloading.

For loose connections and for accommodation of axial forces, bolts are usually secured against moving or twisting by locking elements such as cotter pins, locking rings or cross pins.

A harder material is normally chosen for bolts than for the parts to avoid the risk of pitting and excessive wear. Standard bolts are made from free machine steel.

The advantage over pins, rivets and welded connections is that bolt connections can be undone again without destruction. They are especially suitable for connections which need to be undone quickly and frequently (for example scaffolding, securing of loads).

  • Bolt with head (according to EN 22340)
  • Bolt without head (according to EN 22341)
  • Stud bolts (stress bolts) (according to DIN 2510)
  • Blocking pins
  • Fox bolts (according to DIN 1434 etc.)
  • Spacer bolts
  • Threaded bolts, threaded pins, stud bolts, threaded rods (according to DIN 913-916, 939, 976, 2510)
  • Double-threaded bolts with rolled-on thread on one or both sides (double ended threaded bolt)

We manufacture bolts as double-stroke cold extrusion parts.
