Materials & Standards
Drill screws from OEB are manufactured from high-quality materials – tailored to the respective application and required stability. We process steel, case-hardening and quenched and tempered steels as well as stainless steels for corrosion-resistant applications. All materials meet the current industry standards and are subject to strict quality controls in the manufacturing process. On request, other metallic materials such as aluminum or special alloys are also possible – including the appropriate standard conformity and documentation.

Our drill screws are equipped with a hardened drill tip and enable drilling, thread forming and screwing in a single operation – ideal for efficient processes in metal construction. The screws have a sheet metal screw thread and are available with countersunk, oval or hexagonal heads, depending on the requirement. All common surface finishes are available – from CrVI-free zinc to Delta-Tone and Dacromet. Thread locking and sealing devices such as Precote, Loctite or Tuflok can also be implemented. For screws subject to documentation, we supply samples in accordance with EMPB, VDA or PPAP.
