Sheet metal screws for fast and secure direct screwing
Sheet metal screws from OEB enable the fast fastening of components to sheet metal – without additional nuts or post-processing. They cut their own thread without chips into a pre-fabricated core hole, thus ensuring a secure, chip-free connection. Whether steel, aluminum, or copper sheet: Our sheet metal screws are available at short notice, in many variants in stock, and also available as custom-made products.

Overview of other connection solutions
In addition to sheet metal screws, OEB offers a wide range of screw solutions for sheet metal processing and industrial connection technology. Our products cover a wide range of requirements – from self-tapping versions and flow-drilling screws to individually manufactured custom parts.
Sheet metal screws individually tailored to your requirements
Do you need sheet metal screws that deviate from the standard in terms of dimension, head shape, or material? OEB manufactures individual screw solutions for your component – precisely matched to the installation situation, material, and function. Typical individualizations:
- Special thread diameters or screw lengths
- Desired combination of head and drive
- Screws for aluminum, steel, or copper sheet
- Special geometries or end machining
- Defined tightening torques or surfaces
Materials & Standards
We manufacture sheet metal screws from steel and from stainless steels of material groups A2 and A4. All materials are designed for chipless cutting and a secure connection in sheet metal. Production takes place in accordance with current DIN standards (e.g. DIN 7971 to 7983) and industry-specific standards – especially for construction and electrical engineering.

Specifications
Sheet metal screws from OEB are available with common head shapes such as oval, raised, countersunk, or hexagonal heads. PZ, PH, TX, slotted, combination slotted, and special solutions are available as drives. The screws are made of steel or stainless steel A2/A4 and have a sheet metal screw thread. End machining such as shaft slots, pilot points, or pins are possible on request. Surface treatments such as galvanizing, Delta-Tone, Dacromet, or Geomet are just as feasible as heat treatments. We can provide documentation according to EMPB, VDA, or PPAP on request.
