Materials & Standards
For our metric screws, we only process proven materials – matched to strength, corrosion behavior and machinability. Steel, case-hardening and tempered steels, stainless steels, brass, aluminum and other non-ferrous metals are used. Production takes place in accordance with the applicable standards and material specifications – including industry-specific standards from mechanical engineering, automotive and electrical engineering. This results in screw solutions that are technically and normatively convincing.

OEB manufactures metric screws with all common thread forms, drives and head shapes – including PZ, PH, TX, slotted, combination slotted and security drives. Additional machining such as machining rework and end machining are feasible. For surfaces, galvanized (CrVI-free), nickel-plated, Delta-Tone, Dacromet, Geomet and others according to VDA standard are available. In addition, we offer coatings such as Precote, Loctite or Tuflok as well as common heat treatments. For components subject to documentation, we can provide EMPB, VDA and PPAP on request.
