Thin sheet screws join sheets chiplessly without pre-drilling, piercing or punching.

Thin sheet screws join sheets quickly and securely

Thin sheet screws are flow drilling screws. They form a metric nut thread chiplessly in the material bead created when drilling in, usually without pre-drilling, piercing or punching. The connection is particularly durable due to cold solidification.

  • Thin sheet screws with hexagon head, pan head, countersunk head.

Thin sheet screws are manufactured in double-stroke technique on cold forming presses.

Thin sheet screws cut their thread chiplessly into the part (or to be more exact: into the material bead created when drilling in), for example in two overlapping sheet sections. No pre-drilling, piercing or punching is required as a rule. Since the thread heats up when cutting and cools down again afterwards, the connection is particularly durable (cold solidification).

Assembly of sheet sections with thin sheet screws saves time and is kind on the material because there are no chips and no nuts are needed.
