Threaded inserts (also called threaded nut inserts) are inserted into a locating hole in the part, e.g. a punched hole in the sheet.

OEB-Threaded inserts create stable precision threads in the part

OEB-Threaded inserts (also called threaded nut inserts) are inserted into a locating hole in the part, e.g. a punched hole in the sheet that is slightly smaller. When inserted, the nut displaces some material which flows into a groove in the shank area of the nut. This is a cold forming process and results in a strong bond. A sprocket prevents the insert from twisting in the part. No damage or bulging occurs on the rear of the part.

Our threaded inserts made of brass, steel or stainless steel create stable threads in plastic, wood and soft metals. They are highly stressable and very accurately positionable in thin sheets from 0.5 mm. No thread cutting in the part is necessary.

Dimensions: Metric from M2 to M20, Imperial (BA, BSW, BSP, BSPT, UNC, UNF) from 1/8“ to 1“ or customized.

Threaded inserts create a high-strength thread in plastic and wood and
– are wear-free and corrosion-resistant
– enable frequent tightening and loosening of the screw connection
– are flexibly usable
– offer different assembly possibilities

Special sizes and shapes according to drawing or sample – all from us.

Threaded inserts for plastic (plastic inserts): For the plastic moulding industry (thermoplastics and duroplastics), brass inserts for e.g. ABS, polycarbonate, UPVC, CPVC, Bakelite, HDPE, PP, acrylic etc.
Threaded inserts for metal, aluminium, wood etc.
